A well-established construction and infrastructure business is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join itsmercial team on a temp-to-perm basis. Your new role
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will support themercial delivery of projects from inception through topletion. Working closely with senior members of themercial team, you will assist with cost management, subcontract administration, valuations, reporting, and contractual processes to help ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key duties will include:
Supporting cost reporting and forecasting activities.
Assisting with subcontract procurement and administration.
Preparing valuations, applications for payment, and variations.
Monitoring project costs andmercial performance.
Assisting with monthly reporting andmercial documentation.
Building relationships with site teams, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Supporting the management of contracts and change control processes.

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or similarmercial role.
A degree, HNC, HND, or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
Experience within construction, utilities, infrastructure, or a similar project environment.
Strongmercial awareness and analytical skills.
Goodmunication and stakeholder management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
