Site Engineer

Site Engineer Location: Devonport Dockyard, Plymouth Rate: £336 - £390 per day (PAYE including Holiday Pay) + Lodge Allowance Hours: Monday to Friday An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major infrastructure redevelopment project at Devonport Dockyard. This is a fantastic chance for a Site Engineer to work on one of the UK's most significant engineering programmes within a secure and technically challenging environment. The Role As Site Engineer, you'll support the safe and efficient delivery of construction works, ensuring activities are completed in line with project specifications, quality standards and Health & Safety requirements. Key responsibilities: Coordinate daily site activities with construction teams and subcontractors Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures, RAMS, permits and Safe Systems of Work Carry out site surveys and maintain accurate engineering records Review drawings and raise TQs, RFIs and NCRs where required Update CAD drawings and engineering documentation Support planning, progress meetings and project risk management Assist with project handover and completion documentation Requirements Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent in Civil Engineering or a related discipline CSCS Card Previous site engineering experience on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects Strong understanding of construction methods and engineering principles Ability to interpret technical drawings and manage site documentation Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CAD software Desirable: Experience in regulated environments NEC contract knowledge BIM, Autodesk or Bentley software experience Nuclear project experience or additional site qualifications What's On Offer? £336 - £390 per day (PAYE including Holiday Pay) Lodge allowance available Long-term opportunity on a flagship UK infrastructure project Join an experienced and collaborative project team with excellent career development opportunities Security Requirements Applicants must be eligible to obtain the required site security clearance.
