Civils & Asphalt Project Manager Location: Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire Job Type: Permanent Salary: Competitive + Company Vehicle/Car Allowance + Benefits Civils & Asphalt Project Manager We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established civil engineering and asphalt contractor for an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team based in Scunthorpe. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected contractor delivering highways, asphalt and civil engineering projects across Yorkshire/Lincolshire The successful candidate will oversee multiple projects from contract award through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple civils and asphalt projects simultaneously. Plan, programme and coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget. Liaise with clients, local authorities, commercial teams and site management. Monitor project progress and produce regular progress reports. Manage project finances, variations and cost control alongside the commercial team. Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards. Conduct site visits, progress meetings and client meetings. Identify and mitigate project risks. Build and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business. Requirements Proven experience managing civil engineering and asphalt projects. Strong knowledge of highways, road construction, asphalt paving, carriageway maintenance and infrastructure works. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Experience managing multiple live projects. Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability. Full UK Driving Licence. SMSTS and CSCS required. First Aid qualification would be advantageous.
