Plater – Industrial New Build Project Location: Hertfordshire Duration: 6-9 month contract Hours: 11 Day Fortnight | 10 Hours Per Day Rates: Paid in line with Blue Book Agreement * Basic Pay: £23.45 per hour +holidays * OT1: £32.83 per hour * OT2: £42.21 per hour * Accommodation: £53.39 per day or hotel provided * Bonus: £2.37 per hour * Travel & Fare £2757.45 per week - 70 hour working week - inc lodge and bonus Our client is currently seeking experienced Platers for a long-term industrial new build project based in Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity to join a major project offering consistent hours and long-term work. Responsibilities * Fabrication and installation of structural steelwork and plate components * Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and fabrication details * Marking out, fitting, and assembling steel plate and structural sections * Working with heavy industrial materials and equipment safely * Carrying out modifications and repairs as required on site * Working closely with welders, supervisors, and other trades to meet project deadlines Requirements * NVQ Level 3 in Plating, Fabrication, or equivalent qualification * Valid CCNSG Safety Passport / ACE Card * Previous experience working on industrial new build projects * Ability to read and work from technical drawings * Strong understanding of site health & safety procedures Details * 10-hour shifts * 11-day fortnight rotation * Long-term contract opportunity (12–18 months) * Rates paid in line with Blue Book Agreement * Immediate starts available for suitable candidates
