We're looking for an Fixed WireTesting Team Leader to lead a Electrical Testing Team, acting as the first point of contact for the Fixed Wire Testing Manager and team members while ensuring works are delivered in accordance with BS7671 Wiring Regulations.Role ResponsibilitiesAct as the first point of contact for client queries, providing feedback, support and escalation where appropriate.Ensure effective pre-job briefings, supervision arrangements, workface inspections, quality assurance and lessons learned are completed throughout team operations.Work closely with the Fixed Wire Testing Manager to schedule planned works, maximise resource utilisation and ensure successful delivery.Coach, mentor and develop team members, supporting them in reaching their full potential and achieving Sellafield nominations where applicable.Deliver regular team briefings, promote excellent customer service and maintain strong working relationships with clients and operational teams.Required QualificationsApplicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role:NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Maintenance and Installation (or equivalent).City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification (or equivalent).Minimum of 3 years' experience within a Fixed Wire Testing environment.Full clean UK driving licence.Ability to organise work effectively and liaise with operational teams and the Fixed Wire Testing Manager.What's in it for you?Competitive salary, bonus and travel allowance in line with the NAECI Agreement.Opportunity to work within a specialist Fixed Wire Testing team on a major nuclear site.Ongoing training, development and career progression opportunities within Mitie.Health and Safety ResponsibilitiesFollow Group and company policies and procedures at all times.Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment.Use all work equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) properly and in accordance with training received.Report any issues or training needs to your Line Manager and/or via your divisional incident reporting system.Information SecurityEnsure compliance with Mitie's information security procedures in all activities.Proactively identify and report security risks to your manager.Report actual and suspected security incidents.There's a place for you at Mitie, join us today!Ref: Location:Seascale Employment:Full time Role Classification:2
