You'll have the opportunity to take real ownership of your matters, develop long-standing relationships with clients and build your own profile within the Swindon market, while having the support of an established and experienced team around you.The roleYou'll manage a varied private Family caseload, covering areas including:DivorceFinancial mattersChildren workCohabitation disputesPre and post-nuptial agreementsWider private Family mattersThe team has a busy and technically interesting workload, so you'll need to be comfortable working at pace and managing your own files, while maintaining the high level of client care the firm is known for.Importantly, this isn't purely a fee-earning role. You'll be encouraged to develop your own client relationships, build your network and raise your profile in the local market.For someone who is commercially minded and wants to develop their career alongside their technical expertise, there is plenty of scope to make the role your own.What are they looking for?You'll ideally be a Family Solicitor with 2+ PQE, with solid experience across a broad range of private Family matters.You'll be someone who:Is confident managing their own caseload from start to finishEnjoys working directly with clients and building trusted relationshipsHas strong technical knowledge across private Family workIs commercially aware and interested in developing their own client baseCommunicates clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writingIs organised, proactive and takes ownership of their workCan remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging or sensitive situationsEnjoys being part of a collaborative team while having the independence to manage their own workloadResolution or Law Society Family Panel membership would be advantageous, but isn't essential.Why consider it?You'll be joining an established regional firm with a strong reputation for quality legal work and client service, but one that also places genuine value on its people.You'll have the backing of an experienced Family team without being lost within a large department.
