With a strong presence across major residential, commercial and refurbishment projects, the business has built an excellent reputation for delivering innovative MEP design solutions across complex developments.The consultancy offers a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment supported by dedicated sustainability and BIM teams, providing engineers with the opportunity to work on technically challenging projects while developing their leadership capabilities.Your new roleDue to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to take a leading role within the business.You will be responsible for managing electrical design projects from initial concept through to construction, leading client engagement, and providing technical guidance to junior members of the team. The role offers a balance of hands-on design, project leadership and stakeholder management across a varied portfolio of residential and commercial developments.Leading electrical building services design on multiple projects.Producing and reviewing designs for lighting, power, LV distribution, fire alarm and emergency systems.Undertaking electrical calculations and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.Supporting projects through the Building Safety Regulator gateway process where required.Attending client meetings and design team workshops.Supporting the continued growth and development of the electrical team.A degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.Extensive experience within a Building Services Consultancy environment.Proven experience delivering residential and commercial building projects.Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services design.Experience using industry-standard electrical design software such as Amtech, Electrical OM or equivalent.Understanding of current Building Regulations and the Building Safety Act framework.Knowledge of sustainable building design principles and energy-efficient systems.What you'll get in returnIn return, you'll join a forward-thinking consultancy that genuinely values technical expertise and professional development.Competitive salary package.Flexible and hybrid working arrangements.Private healthcare.Clear and structured career progression.Opportunity to lead high-profile projects across the North West.Support towards professional development and chartership.A collaborative and supportive working culture where senior engineers play a key role in project delivery and business growth.
