As an Associate in the External Reporting Team within the Equities Product Control Group, you play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our Equities Trading business. You will help us strengthen our control framework, drive process improvements, and implement innovative solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance and transparency. Together, we create value for the business and support your professional growth.Job ResponsibilitiesDesign, maintain, and enhance controls for daily and monthly balance sheet and liquidity processesIdentify risks early and ensure robust data and reportingSeek and implement smarter, more efficient ways of workingAutomate manual tasks and challenge existing processesReconcile trading positions, balances, and valuations with accuracyInvestigate and resolve data mismatches and issuesEnsure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulationsParticipate in control testing and maintain clear process documentationSupport audits and knowledge sharing across teamsIdentify and implement automation opportunities using tools such as AlteryxCollaborate with trading, treasury, operations, and finance teams to align goals and share ideasRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, STEM, or related fieldRelevant experience in product control, financial analysis, or similar analytical roleUnderstanding of equities products such as cash equities, equity derivatives, swaps, and financing businessProficiency in Excel, Alteryx, and TableauDemonstrated experience in process improvement, control enhancement, or automation initiativesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to adapt in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple prioritiesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProactive in identifying issues and implementing solutionsStrong interpersonal skills for stakeholder management and presenting ideas to managementPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsKnowledge of balance sheet and liquidity conceptsProgress toward professional qualifications such as ACA or ACCAExperience supporting audits or regulatory reviewsFamiliarity with process documentation best practicesExposure to automation tools beyond AlteryxExperience working in a global or cross-functional team environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsJ.P.
