Welder/ Fitter Location: Keighley Shift: Permanent Nights Monday – Wednesday: 2:15pm – 12:30am Thursday: 2:15pm – 12:00am Enjoy a 3-Day Weekend Every Week Salary: from £36,625 - £43,857.60 (£22.49 per hour incl shift premium) Dependant on experience We are looking for experienced Assembly Fitters / Welders to join a well-established engineering manufacturer producing high-quality, specialist industrial equipment. You will be involved in the fitting, assembly, and welding of bespoke engineered equipment, working to detailed engineering drawings and high-quality standards. What’s in it for you? Up to £43,857 annual salary DOE Permanent night shift Extended 3-day weekend every week 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Christmas shutdown period Company pension scheme: 4% employee / 4% employer contributions Employer contributions increase to 6% after 12 months’ service Salary sacrifice option available after 12 months Death in service cover – 3x annual salary Employee Assistance Programme including counselling support for you and family members living at home Cycle to Work scheme Ongoing investment in training and development Free on site parking Spec savers Corporate Eye care scheme Stable, long-term engineering role Overtime opportunities Varied and interesting engineering work Key Responsibilities Mechanical assembly and fitting of components and machine sections MIG welding and basic TIG welding to engineering drawings Preparing and inspecting parts before assembly Working from bills of materials and technical drawings Assembly of pneumatic and general pipework systems Operating rolling and swagging machinery (training provided) Finishing and preparing components using hand and power tools Completing quality checks to ensure dimensional accuracy Safely moving parts using lifting equipment and overhead cranes Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety Supporting production schedules and build deadlines What We’re Looking For Previous experience in welding and mechanical assembly Competent MIG welder with basic TIG experience Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience within manufacturing, fabrication, or heavy engineering Strong attention to detail and quality Reliable team player with a positive attitude If you are an experienced Welder / Fitter looking for a secure role with excellent work-life balance, strong benefits, and long-term opportunities, apply today
