Job Title: Leather Technician Location: Witham, Essex (CM8) Company: auto-scan Pay Rate: £16.50 PAYE or £21.45 Ltd Company Duration: 3-Months FTC Start Date: Immediate Start Available About Us Auto-scan is a leading provider of quality assurance and inspection services to the automotive industry. We’re seeking a talented LeatherTechnician to join an established team manufacturing luxury interiors for some of the world's most exclusive and ultra-premium car programmes. In this role, you’ll combine traditional leather-handling skills with modern manufacturing standards, taking pride in delivering flawless finishes that exceed customer expectations. Working Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30am — 1630pm Please Note: All candidates must possess valid right to work in the UK without restrictions and must undergo a standard criminal record check (DBS). Requirements * Ensure products meet design specifications, tolerances and customer quality standards * Be competent in maintaining a flexible and adaptable approach to changing requirements at short notice * Maintain a professional, accountable, proactive and helpful attitude at all times * Have a strong work ethic with a “can do” attitude * Perform rework or repairs on defective items * Liaise with other technicians to achieve desired product finishes Skills & Experience required: * Proven experience in leather automotive environment would be desirable * Proficiency with leather handling techniques * Previous experience * Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship * Ability to read and interpret patterns, drawings, work orders etc * Good time management and ability to meet strict deadlines * Understanding of workplace Health & Safety 🤝 Stay Connected: Follow us on LinkedIn to stay updated on the latest news and job openings at Auto-scan.
