• Annual Salary: £60k - £80k (depending on experience) + bonus scheme
• Location: Dorking, Surrey
• Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid (one day per week remotely)

We are currently seeking a Property Solicitor with 6-8 years PQE who is experienced in both residential and commercial property law. This role offers potential future partnership prospects and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Act as a Property Solicitor handling both residential and commercial property matters.
• Manage a large and mixed caseload, including some complex cases, while delegating tasks to paralegals as appropriate.
• Engage in various property law activities such as handling sales of commercial property, dealing with bridging finance and short-term loans, drafting legal documents like Option Agreements and Conditional Contracts, and advising on lease renewals, extensions, and variations.
• Conduct client business development activities, including networking and marketing to attract new clients and maintain existing relationships.
• Provide thorough, meticulous legal services, ensuring responsiveness and efficiency to meet client needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6-8 years PQE as a Property Law Solicitor, ideally – open to all levels of experience.
• Strong experience in handling both residential and commercial property matters. Candidates with primarily residential experience will also be considered.
• Proven ability to handle a diverse range of property law issues including lease assignments, new lease agreements, property sales, and more.
• Experience in client business development and maintaining client relationships.
• Management experience or interest in managing a team is preferable.
• Experience with CQS accreditation is an advantage.
