Learning and Development Specialist

SF Partners are seeking a proactive Learning & Development Specialist to lead learning initiatives across our clients organisation, working closely with stakeholders to identify training needs, create development plans, and deliver engaging learning solutions through both digital platforms and classroom-based training. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the annual appraisal process, support graduate and apprenticeship programmes, develop learning pathways, and build strong relationships across the business. Learning & Development Specialist £37,000 - £40,000 | Birmingham | Full time site based with travel to other locations. Key Responsibilities - Design and deliver training programmes across digital and face-to-face channels - Conduct learning needs analysis and create development plans - Own and manage the annual appraisal process - Support graduate and apprenticeship programmes - Partner with managers to identify and address capability gaps - Manage LMS content and learning resources - Coordinate internal and external training solutions - Travel to UK sites as required About You - Proven experience in Learning & Development - Strong training design and facilitation skills - Experience with LMS platforms and digital learning tools - Confident stakeholder manager with a proactive approach - Experience supporting graduate, apprenticeship, or talent development programmes would be advantageous - Looking to progress into a future leadership role What's on Offer? - Flexible start and finish times (typically 08:30-17:00) - 25 days holiday plus bank holidays - Pension auto-enrolment - Mileage reimbursement for business travel - Genuine career progression opportunities as the L&D function grows
