General Operative / Handyman

General Handyman
Location: Gateshead
Hours: Full-time Monday to Friday 
Hourly rate: £13.20

Our client, based in Gateshead, is looking for a General Handyman to join their team.
This is a hands-on role preparing portable buildings when they return from hire.
Full-time hours and ongoing work with the opportunity of a permanent position for the right candidate.

Duties include:

• Clearing out portable buildings.
• Removing partition walls and panels where buildings have been modified.
• General maintenance and repair work.
• Using hand and power tools.
• Keeping the work area clean and safe.

Requirements:

• Previous handyman, labouring or maintenance experience preferred.
• Confident using hand and power tools.
• Reliable with a good work ethic.
• Able to carry out manual work.
