Healthcare Assistant Location: Hitchin, SG4 8BY Pay: £14.48 per hour (£13.21 + £1.27 Location Allowance) Drivers preferred Please note: Sponsorship is not available for this role. About the Role Brainkind's Stagenhoe Neurological Care Centre is looking for caring and motivated Healthcare Assistants to join our specialist neurological rehabilitation team. You'll support adults with neurological conditions and acquired brain injuries to maximise their independence, wellbeing and recovery. Key Responsibilities * Provide high-quality personal care and support. * Assist service users with daily living activities and rehabilitation programmes. * Monitor and report changes in physical and emotional wellbeing. * Maintain accurate records and documentation. * Promote dignity, choice and independence. * Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve individual rehabilitation goals. * Help maintain a safe and supportive environment for service users. About You * Previous care experience is desirable. * Comfortable providing personal care. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Basic IT, literacy and numeracy skills. * Passionate about delivering compassionate, person-centred care.
