About the role
The opportunity
Our client is looking for an experienced Parts and Accessories Person to support the efficient day-to-day operation of its parts department. This is a customer-focused role involving sourcing, ordering and supplying parts and accessories accurately and efficiently.
The Role
You will work closely with customers, suppliers and colleagues to ensure the right parts and accessories are available when needed, while maintaining accurate records and supporting stock control.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the day-to-day parts and accessories operation.
* Identify and source the correct parts and accessories for customers and internal requirements.
* Process orders accurately and efficiently.
* Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, availability and delivery information.
* Provide knowledgeable and professional advice to customers.
* Monitor stock levels and assist with stock control and ordering.
* Maintain accurate records of stock, orders and customer enquiries.
* Handle enquiries by telephone, email and in person.
* Raise invoices and process payments where required.
* Work with other departments to ensure parts and accessories are available when needed.
* Resolve delivery, stock and product issues promptly and professionally.
* Identify opportunities to increase parts and accessories sales.
* Keep the parts area clean, organised and professional.
About You
You will have previous experience in a parts or accessories-focused role, with knowledge gained in a relevant environment such as automotive, leisure, engineering or a related sector.
* Confident dealing with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
* Organised, accurate and able to manage multiple orders and enquiries.
* Commercially aware, with an eye for sales opportunities.
* Comfortable using computer systems and stock management software.
* A confident communicator with a professional manner.
* Proactive, reliable and able to work independently.
* A supportive team player who is happy to get involved.
What’s on Offer
* Salary of £30,000 – £34,000 per annum, depending on experience.
* Full-time, permanent position.
* Monday to Friday working hours.
* A varied role with responsibility and autonomy.
