Production Operative

Full-time, temp to perm position Bonus scheme after 12 months employment Health and wellbeing programs  Pertemps are recruiting for temp to perm Production Operatives and Packers to work for our client based in Derby. To be considered, you must be able to commit to a full 3 shift rotation, including AM, PM and Night shifts. Our client is a medical company and are looking to add to their team due to continued growth and new contract wins. You will be working with small component medical parts so the role will require good dexterity.  This role presents the successful Production Operatives and packers with a stable, long-term position with the ability to go permanent through good performance and attendance. Working Hours / Shift Patterns + Monday to Friday + Weekly rotating (AM / PM/ Nights) + Mornings – 0600am-1430pm / Afternoons- 1400pm-2230pm / Nights- 2200pm- 0630am The successful Production Operative / Packer will: + Have previous experience in a Production, Warehouse or Packing environment + Be able to work in small teams with a strong eye for detail + Ideally some exposure to operating / loading machines (FMCG environment) + Can read and write well in English due to the work being undertaken + Be comfortable working in extra PPE and in a clean medical environment Your duties as a Production Operative / Packer will include: + Packing end of line medical components + Working on a production line feeding material and ensuring you avoid machine down time + Maintaining health and safety to ensure no work is written off + Following procedure to ensure safe operating polices are adhered to due to working on different customer projects.  You will receive: + £12.71 per hour (AM + PM)  + £16.52 per hour (Nights – inclusive of 30% shift allowance) Benefits of working for Pertemps: + 24/7 consultant support + Weekly or monthly pay - you choose + Pension + Holiday pay + Mortgage references To apply for the Production Operative / Packer vacancy, please submit an up-to-date CV or call us on (phone number removed)
