As one of the world’s largest construction and development companies, we work together with customers, communities and partners to shape a better society.You will be working in the HS2 Main Works, the SCS Joint Venture with Costain and Strabag, our HS2 Main Works South team is delivering one of the UK’s most ambitious infrastructure projects – 26 miles of tunnels from London Euston to West Ruislip, along with viaducts, bridges and embankments that will connect communities for generations.We are currently looking for a Utilities Site Engineer who will:As the Utilities Site Engineer, you will:Day to day work site coordination and planning to ensure the works are carried out safely and efficientlyWorking with the subcontractor to ensure the timely preparation Risk Assessment Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans, Permits, Consents etc for the works and that these are implementedLiaison with the Construction Manager to ensure the adherence to safe methods of workEnsuring all temporary works needs are identified sufficiently early and completed in accordance with the relevant proceduresEnsuring all quality checks are carried out in accordance with the ITP’s and properly recordedWork collaboratively with the HS2 team and other contractors, subcontractors works packages to achieve the overall project goalsManaging the supply chain to ensure that they deliver in an efficient way and in accordance with the Safety, Environmental and Quality requirementsWe are looking for:Degree or equivalent in Civil / Environmental engineering or similarPrior experience in Civil engineering / Infrastructure projectsRelevant CSCS CardTrack record of developing a proactive and collaborative relationship with the Customer teamsAbility to establish and lead a safety first culture with a track record of delivering projects safelyWhat we offer:24/7 digital GP service for you and your family  Financial wellbeing and employee assistance  Professional development  Enhanced family benefits (including maternity, paternity, dependants and parental bereavement leave)  Inclusion and Diversity We thrive through embracing differences as we know that diversity opens a rich potential for new ways of thinking, helping us to build successful and high-performing teams.
