Painter & Decorator

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality results that meet client expectations. A valid driving licence and good communication skills are essential for this position. Responsibilities * Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling imperfections before painting or decorating * Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other finishes with precision and care * Use a variety of tools and equipment safely and efficiently, including brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding * Ensure all work adheres to health and safety regulations and company standards * Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and requirements * Manage time effectively to complete projects within designated deadlines * Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout each project Requirements * Proven experience in construction painting and decorating or similar roles * Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between sites * Good command of English language for clear communication with clients and colleagues * Strong communication skills to interpret project specifications and provide updates effectively * Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various settings * Organised with attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes * Physical fitness to handle manual tasks such as lifting materials and working at heights on scaffolding or ladders Benefits: * On-site parking Licence/Certification: * CSCS (required) Work Location: In person
