Assistant Project Manager - Civils Construction

Assistant Project Manager required to work on a £multi-billion construction project in Essex. If you have experience of working on the delivery stages of complex civil engineering/construction projects within a highly regulated industry, this would be a greta role for you! Key Responsibilities: Supporting the Project Manager with the delivery of complex civils construction projects Co-ordinating project activities across design, construction and delivery phases Monitoring progress, programme milestones, risks, issues and project dependencies Supporting the management of contractors, consultants and project stakeholders Assisting with project reporting, documentation, governance and change control Ensuring construction activities are delivered in line with quality, health and safety and regulatory requirements Contributing to effective communication across multidisciplinary project teams Job Requirements: Experience in project management within complex civil engineering or construction programmes Practical experience of working through construction stages of major projects Understanding of project controls, risk management, progress reporting and change management Experience gained within a highly regulated industry, such as airports, rail, nuclear or water Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work collaboratively with contractors, consultants and internal teams Good understanding of construction processes, governance and compliance requirements Permanent opportunity within a major transformation programme Involvement in complex and high-profile civil engineering construction projects Opportunity to develop project management expertise in a highly regulated environment Collaborative and multidisciplinary working environment If you are an Assistant Project Manager with experience of complex construction programmes and are ready to contribute to a £multi-billion construction transformation programme, apply now
