With a turnover of over 50 million, a well-established UK main contractor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience delivering projects under JCT Design & Build contracts, with a strong background in refurbishment and fit-out works.Responsibilities:
•    Monthly review of profit reports to determine overall project cost position
•    Preparation of monthly valuations for both client and supply chain
•    Negotiation and procurement of subcontractor packages
•    Preparation of pre-tender profit plans
•    Management of cost variations and changes throughout the project lifecycle
•    Preparation and monitoring of project cashflow forecasts
•    Assist in the agreement of final accounts both upstream and downstream
•    Support the preparation of main contract documentation, including collateral warranties and consultant appointments
Requirements:
•    Minimum 4 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role
•    Proven experience working on JCT Design & Build refurbishment and fit-out projects
•    Previous experience working with Tier 1 main contractors on projects valued over 10 million
•    Must be immediately available or able to work within a one-month notice period
