This role will assist in the management of the Certification and Homologation process of ADAS Features & Systems from concept to end of volume production  to ensure all vehicles meet the necessary legislative requirements The primary focus is to support the delivery of the Conformity of Production testing and documentation for all Assisted and Automated Driving Features and Systems. This role will also work to ensure the required homologation and certification processes are completed to meet legislative requirements  for each of the required sales markets. Key Accountabilities Working with ADAS  component, system and feature owners Verification and Validation Team: conduct vehicles testing, perform log analysis, writing test reports.Identify regulatory homologation requirements unique to ADAS sub assemblies as appropriate to each model. Liaise with internal & external technical teams and approval authorities to ensure data required for approval is collected and prepared according to regulations.Provision of technical guidance to colleagues and management on current & future legislative requirements for the purpose of Certification.Preparation of applications, gathering and editing data and finalisation of data for submission in accordance with the Certification/Approval processes.Compilation and maintenance of technical construction files and documentation.Prepare compliance reports for the wider business.Ensure the regulations Certification system is maintained to ensure correct and consistent functionality.Monitor the New Product Development Plan and conduct assessments to determine requirements in support of ADAS vehicle system certification. WHAT YOU'LL NEED Essential: A strong engineering and product legislation background Possess excellent organisational and business interface skillsEthical, moral and compliant conduct as to build and further expand the network to regulators, legislators and internal stakeholdersAnalytical skill setCustomer mind-setDegree qualified or equivalent experience preferredFull driving license(valid in the EU) with no penalty points or disqualificationsExperience with Vector test and analysis tools(CANape, CANoe, CANalyzer etc)Experience in scripting languagesExperience in Microsoft Office tools to produce plans, presentations, graphs and reports Desirable: Demonstrate enthusiasm, the ability to communicate and influence changePrevious experience in certification and homologation and collaboration with Technical Services/Government Authorities.Relevant experience in the technical development of ADAS/AV coupled with experience in regulatory fieldAbility to effectively explain complex ideas, confidently presenting these to senior stakeholders Deep understanding of the implications of automated driving on the technical development, regulatory regime and societyExperience of working with DFMEA’sClear understanding of basic physics principlesMatlab – Simulink experience SO WHY US?
