Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) - Temp Contract Location: West Bromwich, West Midlands Start Date: Monday, 28th September 2026 Duration: Temporary (Initially until Friday, 17th October 2026 - potential extension) Payment Method: Umbrella PAYE Sector: Social Housing / Occupied Refurbishment About the Role Are you an experienced Resident Liaison Officer looking for an immediate start in West Bromwich? We are recruiting a customer-focused RLO to join a fast-paced occupied social housing scheme. You will act as the vital bridge between residents, sub-contractors, and site management during ongoing internal and external refurbishment works. This is an immediate temporary assignment starting Monday, 28th September, running initially until 17th October, with the potential for ongoing work across local West Midlands housing stocks. Key Responsibilities First Point of Contact: Act as the primary link between social housing tenants, site management, and client representatives. Resident Communications: Issue clear written notices, newsletters, and appointment letters to residents prior to work commencing. Pre-Start Condition Surveys: Carry out pre-entry dilapidation checks, surveys, and record resident needs or vulnerability requirements. Access Management: Work closely with sub-contractors to secure access to properties and ensure work remains on schedule. Complaints Handling: Resolve queries, complaints, and access issues quickly and empathetically on site. Handover & Sign-Off: Conduct final handovers with tenants once works are completed to secure high customer satisfaction scores. What We Are Looking For Experience: Proven track record working as an RLO within occupied social housing or local authority housing contracts. Skills: Outstanding communication, conflict resolution, and organization skills. Safety & Certifications: Valid CSCS Card (preferred) and clean full UK Driving License with own vehicle (if required for travel across West Bromwich sites). Availability: Must be ready to start on-site in West Bromwich on Monday, 28th September 2026. What's on Offer? Weekly pay via Umbrella PAYE.
