Export Freight Coordinator – Tilbury – Up to 35,000We are seeking an experienced Exports Logistics Executive to manage export operations across airfreight and seafreight. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating shipments, completing export and customs documentation, and liaising with customers, carriers, and overseas agents to ensure shipments are handled accurately, compliantly, and on time.Job type: PermanentHours: 09:00 – 17:00 – Monday to FridayKey ResponsibilitiesCommunicate effectively with customers, hauliers, carriers, and overseas agentsArrange bookings with shipping lines and air carriersCoordinate collections, ensuring vessel and flight deadlines are metComplete customs entries accurately and in line with regulationsPrepare export documentation and cargo manifestsLiaise with warehouses to confirm screening and check-weighing have been completedFinalise and verify all export documentationMonitor shipments to ensure vessels and flights are metRaise invoices and issue pre-alerts to overseas agentsFollow up post-delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and identify additional service opportunitiesKey RequirementsMinimum of two years’ experience in export operations, covering both airfreight and/or seafreightProven experience completing export documentation, including checking country-specific requirements and raising Certificates of Origin where requiredExperience completing customs declarationsWorking knowledge of CNS and Destin8; experience using MultiFreight forwarding software is desirableStrong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under time pressureExcellent communication skills with a friendly, professional mannerCompetent in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and ExcelStrong, dynamic team playerExcellent English and Maths skillsAdditional InformationDue to the dynamic nature of the logistics and freight forwarding industry, the duties and responsibilities outlined above are not exhaustive and may evolve over time.WR Logistics are a leading recruitment partner for the logistics and supply chain industry, recruiting across the UK, Europe, and the USA for permanent opportunities.WR Logistics is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
