Semi Senior Accountant / Assistant Manager

Accounts Semi-Senior / Assistant Manager Bexhill, East Sussex | £30,000+ depending on experience | Full time, with flexibility considered A well-established accountancy firm with a network of offices across Sussex and Surrey is looking for an Accounts Semi-Senior to join its Bexhill team. This is a general practice role with real client contact. You'll prepare accounts and tax returns for sole traders and owner-managed limited companies, handle bookkeeping, and be the person clients come to with their queries. You'll report into a Senior Manager who is invested in bringing people on, and there's a clear route to Assistant Manager for someone who wants it. What they're looking for AAT qualified, or part or fully qualified ACCA or ICAEW At least three years in an accountancy practice Accounts preparation and personal and corporate tax return experience Confident with QuickBooks and Xero. IRIS is a bonus Good Excel, including formulas and data analysis Comfortable speaking to clients directly and resolving queries yourself What's on offer 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Up to two days a week from home once you've passed probation Study support, and recognition as an approved training employer by ICAEW, ACCA and AAT Genuine progression.
