Job DescriptionLiaising and corresponding with HMRC in respect of clearance applications, enquiries etcDrafting reports and letters of advice for a number of tax advisory issuesPreparing calculations to support adviceLiaising with clients and attending meetings with other team membersTraining and reviewing the work of more junior members of staffProviding support to Directors and Partners in the Tax Advisory GroupAdvice and implementation of corporate reconstructions, investor reliefs such as EIS/SEIS, staff incentive schemesAdvising owner-managed businesses regarding remuneration planning, succession planning Preparation of research & development claims, VAT returns, SDLT returnsAdvising individuals regarding IHT planning and CGT mitigation Reviewing corporate tax computations and returnsThe Successful Applicant A successful Tax Manager - Advisory should have:A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related fieldProfessional tax or accounting certificationProficiency in tax advisory and managementExcellent project management skillsStrong knowledge of tax laws and regulationsExceptional client service skillsProven ability to develop and implement tax strategiesWhat's on OfferA competitive salary and benefits package25 days annual leave + bank holidayEnhanced pension schemePrivate medical insurancePaid overtime at time and a halfHybrid working (2-3 days per week from home)If you are an experienced Tax Manager who is passionate about delivering outstanding professional service, we encourage you to apply for this role in Crawley.
