We are looking for a strong, passionate and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join the opening team of a premium modern Italian restaurant in Hampton Court .
This is an exciting opportunity for a chef who loves fresh Italian food, quality ingredients, modern presentation and a professional kitchen environment .
The Role As Senior Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef in the daily running of the kitchen, helping to lead the team, maintain high standards and deliver exceptional food quality from prep through to service.
You must be confident, organised, hands-on and able to perform under pressure during busy services.
Key Responsibilities Support the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
Lead sections during service and help manage the kitchen team
Maintain exceptional food quality, consistency and presentation
Assist with prep, ordering, stock control and kitchen organisation
Ensure high standards of cleanliness, HACCP and food safety
Train and support junior chefs
Work with fresh seasonal ingredients and modern Italian cuisine
The Ideal Candidate Previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef or strong Sous Chef
Strong background in Italian or Mediterranean cuisine
Passion for fresh, seasonal and high-quality food
Calm, professional and organised under pressure
Strong leadership and communication skills
Reliable, clean and highly motivated
High standards of preparation, service and kitchen discipline
