Electrical Estimator - East Yorkshire £40,000 - £45,000 + Excellent Benefits Permanent Position Prestige Recruitment Specialists are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a respected and established electrical contractor seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their growing team. Operating across commercial and industrial sectors, our client has built a strong reputation for delivering reliable electrical solutions and maintaining high standards across all projects. The Opportunity: This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced estimator to play a key role within a busy commercial department, preparing accurate costings and supporting successful project delivery from tender stage through to completion. Main Duties: Prepare detailed electrical estimates from drawings and specifications Evaluate labour, material, plant, and subcontractor costs Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal departments Assist in preparing tender submissions and quotations Monitor project costs and revise estimates where required Identify cost-saving opportunities and commercial risks Maintain accurate estimating records and documentationCandidate Requirements: Proven background in Electrical Estimating is essential Experience within commercial and/or industrial electrical projects Strong understanding of construction and cost control processes Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Excellent IT skills including Excel and estimating software Strong organisational and communication skills Site experience beneficial but not essentialPackage: Competitive salary (£40k - £45k DOE) Annual Christmas bonus Car allowance or company vehicle after probation Private healthcare Company phone Training and development supportIf you are an experienced Electrical Estimator looking for a new challenge within a successful and growing business, we would like to hear from you.
