Estimator VDA Are you an experienced Estimator VDA seeking your next career move within a reputable accident repair bodyshop? Our client, a well-established accident repair facility in Reading, is looking to recruit a skilled Estimator VDA to join their busy team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, managing vehicle damage assessments and repair planning for a variety of damaged vehicles. Benefits for the successful Estimator VDA: * Competitive salary up to £50,000, dependent on experience * Monday to Friday working week (45 hours) with occasional Saturday work when required * Supportive team environment across multiple locations * Opportunity to utilise and develop Audatex expertise * Minimal weekend working, supporting work-life balance * Well-established, reputable company with clear career progression pathways * Ongoing training and development opportunities Duties: * Assess the structural, body, mechanical, electrical, and interior damage of vehicles post-accident * Prepare accurate repair estimates including parts and labour costs * Complete insurance forms indicating repair costs and recommendations * Negotiate contracts with material suppliers * Monitor repair processes to ensure quality standards are maintained * Liaise with customers and insurance companies as required * Ensure all work is completed efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and safety Requirements: * Proven experience as an Estimator VDA within a bodyshop environment * Audatex knowledge essential; ATA NVQ qualifications advantageous * Strong understanding of vehicle damage assessment and repair procedures * Excellent communication, organisational, and negotiation skills * Ability to keep updated with advancements in vehicle technology, including electrical systems * Effective time management and team leadership abilities * Willingness to work Monday to Friday, with availability for occasional Saturday shifts as needed If you possess Estimator VDA experience and are eager to progress within a respected accident repair shop, this vacancy represents an outstanding opportunity.
