The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join the engineering team at a prestigious commercial property in Central London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer looking to take on a senior role within a high-profile site. You will be responsible for leading electrical maintenance activities, supporting the wider engineering team, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all building services.
Key Responsibilities Lead electrical planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities
Carry out fault finding, repairs, and maintenance on electrical systems and associated plant
Support the day-to-day operation of critical building services infrastructure
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, health & safety standards, and site procedures
Assist in supervising specialist contractors and reviewing completed works
Provide technical support and guidance to fellow engineers on-site
Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports through CAFM systems
Identify opportunities for plant improvements and energy efficiency initiatives
Act as a key point of contact for electrical matters on-site
About You Fully qualified Electrician (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship or equivalent)
Previous experience as an Authorised Person (AP) for LV and/or HV systems
Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, switchgear, lighting, power, UPS, generators, and associated building services systems
Experience working within commercial buildings, critical environments, xwzovoh or high-profile sites
Proven fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Strong understanding of safe systems of work and permit procedures
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
A proactive and professional approach to engineering maintenance
