Children's Residential Support Worker (EBD) Salary: £29,900 per annum + Sleep-In Payments Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (38 Hours per Week) Are you passionate about making a lasting difference in the lives of children and young people? As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in providing day-to-day care, guidance, and emotional support to young people, helping them build confidence, independence, and brighter futures. Working alongside an experienced management team, you'll help create a stable, caring home environment where every child feels safe, valued, and heard. Build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people. Support each young person's physical, emotional, educational, and social development. Deliver high-quality, person-centred care in line with individual care plans. Ensure children have a voice in decisions affecting their lives through effective communication. Support young people to access education, hobbies, appointments, and community activities. Participate in therapeutic interventions and positive behaviour support strategies. Maintain high standards of safeguarding and child protection at all times. Attend team meetings, supervisions, and mandatory training. Work collaboratively with families, social workers, schools, and other professionals. Understand their history, strengths, aspirations, and support needs. Coordinate their care and support plans. Liaise with families and professionals involved in their care. Prepare reports and contribute to statutory reviews and planning meetings. Genuine passion for supporting children and young people. Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and sleep-ins. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare. Experience working within a Children's Residential Home. Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete). Full UK Driving Licence.
