Pay Rate: Up to £18.35 per hour
What You’ll Do:
As a Senior Care Assistant, you’ll be providing vital support to service users in care homes.
Your responsibilities may include:
Providing high-quality, person-centred care and supporting patients with personal care and daily living activities.
Carrying out clinical tasks within your competency, including observations, wound care, specimen collection, and catheter and stoma care.
Working alongside nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver care plans, maintain accurate records, and support junior healthcare assistants.
Maintaining a safe, clean clinical environment, following infection control procedures, and communicating effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
Supporting health promotion, long-term condition management, frailty, and end-of-life care with compassion and dignity.

Minimum Requirements:
Right to work in the UK.
A minimum 6 months of paid UK care experience within the last 3 years, working in a Senior Healthcare Assistant role.
Proven experience managing a shift in a care home setting (Required)
SVQ LEVEL 3 Qualification with proven experience in medication administration
Registration: Applicants in Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland will require the relevant registration e.g., SSSC, SCW, NISSC (not applicable in England).
Skills: Knowledge of care equipment and moving & handling.
Qualities: Compassion, teamwork, flexibility, and a professional approach.
