Together, we grow, belong and impact.About the teamTo play a key role in developing the VATadvisory practice at ForvisMazars; working closely with the London VAT Partner and other members of the VATteam. This is a generalistVATadvisory role with an element of compliance. There is also scope for the development of a specialist / sector focus if desired, e.g. real estate.Delivering high quality technical advice, working with a diverse range of clients. To be responsible for the scoping, delivery and billing of client work. You will also be required to be compliant with the firm's risk management processes for clients.About the roleManage a portfolio of clients as the main point of contact for indirect tax, develop yourportfolio to grow your base of profitablework.Develop a portfolio of businesses to target, using your business development skills to start new relationships and generate new work for indirect tax and other teams.Workwith colleagues across the firm to contribute to proposals for new work and provide technical input to tax-wide projects.Contribute to the indirect tax leadership teamwith ideas on management, projects, strategy and focus.What we are looking forThe position would suit a current Manager or Associate Director with strong technical, business development and personal skills including an experienced manager seeking progression.The individual should have a strong interest in the technical side of VAT and should expect a high level of technicalworkcommensuratewith the role.
