Junior Risk & Compliance Lawyer

We are working with a leading international law firm to hire a skilled conflicts lawyer in their expanding risk management department. In this role, you’ll act as a trusted adviser to the firm’s partners and senior stakeholders, evaluating complex international business intake, assessing regulatory risks, and ensuring the firm can safely accept new client matters. The firm is looking for a qualified lawyer with significant experience managing sophisticated professional indemnity and conflict issues within a busy global legal practice. They are looking for candidates who possess excellent commercial acumen alongside the ability to deliver clear, definitive solutions to senior leadership under tight deadlines. Conducting thorough legal and regulatory assessments of potential conflicts of interest and confidentiality matters across global jurisdictions. Collaborating directly with partners and fee earners to investigate client relationships and resolve complex compliance issues. Escalating and guiding high-level discussions with senior management to find strategic resolutions for commercial and reputational risks. Advising on the enhancement of global compliance policies and risk management procedures. Providing mentorship, supervision, and technical guidance to the wider onboarding and conflict clearance teams.
