Marketing Officer (STEM Engagement & Employer Growth)

Are you a creative, commercially minded marketing professional with a passion for inspiring people and driving growth? At In-Comm, we are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Marketing Officer to lead our STEM engagement and employer growth activity. In this wide-ranging role, you will design and deliver campaigns that attract learners into engineering and manufacturing careers, deepen our relationships with employers and schools, and raise brand visibility across the region. If you thrive on variety, love connecting with people, and want your work to have real social impact, this could be the role for you.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in a marketing, communications, or engagement role, with a track record of planning and delivering successful campaigns
* Strong content creation skills across digital channels — including social media, email marketing, and website management
* Experience planning and delivering events and managing relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
* Commercial awareness, with the ability to translate marketing activity into measurable learner and employer recruitment outcomes
* Strong analytical skills, with confidence tracking campaign performance and presenting clear, data-informed reports
* A confident and approachable communicator, able to engage effectively with employers, schools, and young people from all backgrounds
* GCSE Mathematics and English at Grade 4 or above (or equivalent), and a full UK driving licence with willingness to travel regularly
* A degree or professional qualification in Marketing or Communications is desirable, as is experience within the apprenticeship, education, or skills sector
