This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled aerospace machinist with strong 4-axis and 5-axis milling experience to join a growing business manufacturing high-quality precision components for demanding industries.

Working within a modern and well-equipped machining environment, you will be responsible for setting and operating advanced CNC milling machinery while ensuring components are manufactured to the highest quality standards.

The Role Set and operate CNC milling machines including: Matsuura 5-axis machining centres Mori Seiki horizontal machining centres Haas VMCs Manufacture precision aerospace and defence components to tight tolerances Work from engineering drawings and technical specifications Carry out multi-datum setting and complex offset adjustments Ensure components meet customer and quality requirements Support continuous production within a fast-paced machine shop environment Diagnose and troubleshoot machine or process issues when required Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety, and quality What We're Looking For Proven experience as a CNC Miller Setter / Operator Strong 4-axis and 5-axis machining experience Aerospace or defence manufacturing background preferred Experience with Fanuc controls Good working knowledge of: Matsuura Haas Mori Seiki machinery Ability to set machines right first time Experience working to tight tolerances and complex engineering drawings Mechanical engineering qualification, ONC/HND, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset Positive and team-oriented attitude Salary & Benefits £40,000 – £48,000 DOE Clean and modern machining xwzovoh environment Family-friendly working hours Flexible start/finish times available Shorter working day on Fridays Healthcare scheme Employee Assistance Programme 23 days holiday bank holidays Life Assurance (4x salary) Company pension contribution Employee discount schemes On-site parking Long-term career development opportunities Apply Now If you are an experienced CNC Miller, 5-Axis Machinist, CNC Setter Operator, or Aerospace CNC Machinist looking to join a growing and highly respected engineering business, we would like to hear from you.
