Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher looking for your next opportunity?We are currently seeking a committed and passionate English Teacher to join a welcoming school in Accrington on a full-time, long-term basis, starting 3rd September.
This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about English, enjoys inspiring young people, and is looking for a stable role within a supportive school environment.
About the RoleAs an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring English lessons, helping students develop their confidence, literacy skills and love of the subject.
You will be expected to:
Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging English lessons.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Support students of varying abilities and learning needs.
Encourage students to develop their reading, writing and communication skills.
Monitor and assess student progress effectively.
Maintain high expectations of behaviour, achievement and effort.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute positively to the wider school community.
Build strong, professional relationships with students, staff and parents/carers where appropriate.
Follow school policies and contribute to a safe, supportive and respectful learning environment.The Ideal CandidateWe would love to hear from teachers who are:
Qualified and experienced English Teachers, or have relevant teaching experience.
Passionate about education and committed to helping students achieve their potential.
Confident delivering engaging and well-structured lessons.
Able to establish positive relationships with students.
Reliable, professional and well organised.
Adaptable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Available to commit to the full Monday–Friday timetable.
