Job DescriptionPrepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and providing financial insight to support business decision-making.Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including accruals, journals, legal pack preparation, and balance sheet reconciliations.Maintain the general ledger and oversee reconciliations, including cash, bank, intercompany, and reconciliations.Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, including daily cash reconciliation, forecasting, and monthly cash flow reporting.Manage banking and treasury activities, including multi-currency banking operations, FX hedging coordination, FX journals, payment approvals, and intercompany netting.Ensure compliance and governance standards, tax filings, financial controls, payment term compliance, system access administration, and audit support.Act as the primary Finance contact for key stakeholders, including HR, Payroll, Group Treasury, auditors, vendors, and banking partners.Drive continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing financial processes, controls, and operational efficiency across the finance function.The Successful Applicant A successful Financial Accountant should have:Professional accountancy qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations.Experience in financial statement preparation and analysis.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with stakeholders.What's on OfferSalary between 50,000 and 55,000, dependent on the level of experience.Performance-based bonus scheme.Hybrid working model for added flexibility.Permanent contract offering long-term stability.
