As a Head Of Admissions & Student in London, you will lead admissions and student activity within the not-for-profit sector, helping applicants and students receive clear, timely support. You will shape day-to-day delivery across the Marketing & Agency department and ensure processes run smoothly.

University in London who are looking for an interim Head of Admissions position

Description

Provide strategic leadership and management of the Admissions Team, driving performance against university objectives and recruitment targets.

Develop, implement and enhance admissions policies, processes and activities to ensure a fair, inclusive and high-quality applicant experience.

Lead admissions contributions to the Access and Participation Plan and Student Visa Sponsorship Policy.

Ensure compliance with UCAS, UKVI, Office for Students and relevant legislation and university policies.

Oversee and optimise admissions systems, processes and communications to improve the applicant journey from enquiry to acceptance.

Lead student recruitment forecasting, reporting and data analysis to inform strategic decisions and achieve enrolment and financial targets.

Manage admissions budgets, restricted-capacity programmes and tariff setting in collaboration with Faculties and Directorates.

Develop innovative approaches to recruitment, widening participation and new pathways into higher education.

Build effective stakeholder relationships, represent the University on committees and act as the institutional UCAS correspondent.

Lead, develop and motivate the Admissions Team, championing the University's values, brand, equality, diversity and inclusion.

Profile

Experience

Experience leading large teams and managing staff development.
Proven expertise in admissions, student recruitment and organisational change.
Experience developing systems, improving processes and implementing digital solutions.
Strong decision-making skills, using data and research to drive results.
Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.
Desirable: Senior HE admissions experience and knowledge of UK education policy.Skills
