Orthodontist

We are recruiting for an Orthodontic Specialist to join a well-established private dental practice in Northampton. This opportunity is available on a permanent basis, offering 1 day per week which can be flexible for the right candidate. This position provides excellent private earning potential and the opportunity to work within a modern, growing practice environment.

This role is suitable for a Specialist Orthodontist or Dentist with a special interest in Orthodontics seeking a flexible position within a supportive and progressive private practice.

You will need to be registered with the GDC as a Specialist Orthodontist or Dentist, have UK clinical experience, and have the right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Required Skills & Experience for this Orthodontic Specialist position:

• Fully qualified and GDC registered Orthodontist or Dentist
• Valid DBS or willingness to obtain one
• Proven UK clinical experience
• Experience providing fixed orthodontics and aligner treatments (essential)
• Specialist Orthodontic qualification or relevant postgraduate training desirable
• Confidence working in a mixed practice environment
• Commitment to high clinical standards and patient care

As an Orthodontic Specialist, your responsibilities may include:

• Providing orthodontic treatments including fixed appliances and clear aligners
• Managing and maintaining a consistent clinical diary for orthodontic cases
• Building and developing a strong orthodontic patient list
• Providing excellent patient care and communication throughout treatment
• Maintaining accurate and compliant clinical records
• Working collaboratively with dental nurses and the wider practice team
• Adhering to CQC standards and clinical governance
