Agency Midwife Nurse – NHS TrustsRole Overview We are recruiting experienced Agency Midwife Nurses to support NHS Trusts across maternity services. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled midwives looking for flexible agency work while making a real difference in maternity care. * Paid role * Flexible shifts available * Supportive agency compliance team Key Responsibilities * Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to women and newborns * Support and assist during labour and delivery, ensuring safe clinical practice * Monitor maternal and neonatal wellbeing throughout the care pathway * Administer medications safely in line with NHS guidelines * Support breastfeeding and newborn care education * Maintain accurate clinical records in line with NHS and NMC standards * Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary NHS teams * Adhere to infection control and safeguarding protocols Requirements (Essential) * Minimum 6 months recent experience as a Midwife within an NHS Trust * Valid NMC PIN (Midwife registration) * Right to work in the UK * Up‑to‑date mandatory training Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills * Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
