MainPurposeofthejob: LettingsOfficer ToprovideaneffectivelettingsserviceforpropertiesmanagedbyLewishamCouncil,ensuringpropertiesareadvertisedandletwithintargettimessetandthatallstatutoryrequirementsarecompliedwith.Workcloselywithinternalandexternalpartnerstoensureahighquality,efficientandeffectivelettingsservicewithminimumofturnaroundtime SummaryofResponsibilitiesandPersonalDuties: LettingsOfficer Thisjobdescriptionisnottoberegardedasexclusiveorexhaustive.Itisintendedasanoutlineindicationoftheareasofactivityandwillbeamendedinthelightofthechangingneedsoftheorganisation. 1.Terminatetenancieseachweekinlinewithprocedures.Anticipatevoidswhereverpossible. 2.Placeaccurateandgoodqualityadvertsforavailablepropertieseachweekwithinthedeadlinesprovided. 3.Coordinatematchestopropertiesandarrangeviewingsassoonasthepropertyissafetoview. 4.Preparesignuppacksandensurefobsandkeysareavailable. 5.Carryoutofficesign-ups,ensuringthesetakeplaceattheearliestopportunityandwithintimelinessetoutinourpoliciestominimiserentlossandvoidtime. 6.SetuptenanciesandinputdataforCOREreportingwithin48hoursofthesignup.Ensureinformationisaccurateandanyvulnerabilitiesarerecorded. 7.MaintaincomprehensiveanduptodaterecordsofvoidprogressandtenanciesontheHousingManagementSystem. 8.Updatethechoice-basedlettingssystem. 9.Providegoodqualityresponsestoallenquiresandcomplaints. 10.WorkcollaborativelywithothermembersoftheHousingandCommunitiesteamandkeystakeholderstoensureanexcellentserviceisprovidedtoresidents. 11.WorkwiththeVoidsRepairTeamtoensurepropertiesareletwithinthetargetrelettimes. 12.Maintainexcellentcustomerserviceinallareasofwork 13.Takeresponsibilityforownlearninganddevelopment 14.ComplywithallLewishamcouncilpolicies,includingcontractualstandingorders,financialregulationsandallHRpoliciesandproceduresincludingHealth&SafetyandEquality&DiversityTocarryoutthedutiesofthepostwithdueregardtotheCouncilsrelevantcodesandprocedures.AllemployeesarerequiredtoparticipateinAppraisalandPerformanceManagementprocessesandtoundertakeappropriatetraininganddevelopment,includingmandatoryinductiontraining,identifiedtoenhancetheirwork.Undertakeotherduties,commensuratewiththegrade,asmayreasonablyberequired.Considerationwillbegiventorestructuringthedutiesofthispostforadisabledpostholder.
