Press Brake Setter Operator £25,000 - £30,000 + 4 Day Week + Friday To Sunday Off + Overtime At Time And A Half + Stable Site-Based Role Hixon, Stafford Are you a Press Brake Operator / Setter looking for a stable Monday to Thursday role giving you a long weekend every week aswell as lots of progression and overtime opportunities to boost earnings? This is a site-based production role within a large, established contract manufacturing business, working in a busy sheet metal and fabrication environment. The role is focused on setting and operating press brake machinery to produce accurate folded and formed metal components. This role would suit someone with previous press brake operating or setting experience who is confident working from drawings, setting machinery, checking parts and maintaining quality standards in a manufacturing environment. The Role: Set and operate press brake machinery Bend and form sheet metal components to specification Read and work from engineering drawings, job sheets and production instructions Select, fit and adjust tooling and dies where required Check first-off and finished components for accuracy and quality Use measuring equipment to check dimensions, angles and tolerances Make basic machine adjustments to maintain quality and production flow Work safely within a busy sheet metal manufacturing environment Monday to Thursday only The Person: Press Brake Operator, Press Brake Setter, Press Brake Setter Operator Previous press brake operating or setting experience Background in sheet metal, fabrication, metalwork or manufacturing Able to read engineering drawings or production drawings Candidates able to set and operate multiple types of equipment may be considered for an increased hourly rateBenefits: 38-hour working week Friday, Saturday and Sunday off every week Monday to Thursday only Overtime available at time and a half Stable site-based role Long-term opportunity within an established manufacturing business Busy sheet metal and fabrication environment Opportunity for increased hourly rate if able to set and operate multiple types of equipmentThis role is advertised by Roundhouse Recruitment.
