School Caretaker

Tradewind Recruitment are currently supporting a specialist education setting in Northampton in recruiting a part-time Caretaker to join their site team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a school setting that supports children and young people with additional needs, helping to maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment for staff and students. Role details: Part-time position - 20 hours per week 52 weeks per year Flexible working hours available Ideal working pattern: 7:30am-9:00am and 3:30pm-5:00pm during term time, plus an additional 5 hours across the week More flexibility available during school holidays Based primarily in Northampton, with occasional travel to other local education sites as requiredResponsibilities include: Opening and securing the premises daily General site maintenance and repairs Health and safety checks across the school site Ensuring the grounds and facilities are well maintained Liaising with contractors where necessary Supporting with any day-to-day premises needsThe ideal candidate will: Have previous caretaker/site management or facilities experience Be reliable, proactive and able to work independently Have a good understanding of health and safety within a school or public setting Hold a full driving licence and be willing to travel between local sites if neededThis role is available through Tradewind Recruitment and offers the opportunity to secure a long-term role within a rewarding educational setting.
