Management Accountant - Remote (Permanent)

We are currently partnering with a Housing Association based in Derbyshire , who are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join their team on a 12-month temporary basis . This is a full-time position covering maternity leave. The role can be available as a fixed term contract or a temporary contract with a daily rate . The daily rate/ salary will be discussed on a case-by-case basis . Our client offers a 50/50 split for hybrid working , there may be some flexibility for the right candidate. Providing budget training and financial advice to Service Managers Conducting monthly budget monitoring meetings with Service Managers ensuring budgets are maintained Assisting with the preparation of the annual Council Capital Investment programme Preparing annual budgets and annual forecasts in partnership with Service Managers and Head of Finance Processing monthly accounting journals in line with IFRS, including prepayments, accruals, referred revenue, accrued revenue, payroll etc liaising with External Auditors Experience required in Social Housing/ Local Government Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm (flexible starts and finishes)
