Train Cleaner/Polisher Location: Crawley Duration of contract: 6 Months Pay Rate: £15.59 per hour PAYE / £20.00 per hour Umbrella Semi-Skilled Operatives - Immediate Start About the Role We are currently recruiting Semi-Skilled Operatives to join a busy rail project focused on the cleaning, polishing, and aesthetic improvement of train exteriors. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in the rail industry, with full training provided and opportunities to progress into higher-paid skilled roles. What You'll Be Doing Cleaning and polishing train exteriors to a high standard Supporting refurbishment and aesthetic improvement works Working as part of a team in a fast-paced depot environment Maintaining health & safety standards at all times What We're Looking For Semi-skilled candidates with some trade or hands-on experience (e.g. labouring, fabrication, detailing, cleaning, mechanical support) Physically fit and comfortable with manual, active work Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented Willingness to learn and progress Working Hours Monday to Friday 11:00am - 8:30pm Overtime may be available (earlier starts), but not guaranteed Pay & Progression £20.00 per hour (semi-skilled rate) Opportunity to progress to £23.00 per hour (skilled rate) based on performance Consistent work for 6 months with immediate starts available Why Apply?
