Remedy Tutors are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Primary Tutor to join their Tuition and Targeted Learning Team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about ensuring every child has access to high-quality education. You'll provide flexible, personalised tuition to children who are unable to access mainstream education due to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), medical needs or other barriers to learning.
Please note this is a full-time, permanent position working throughout the year. These roles are not term-time only, and successful candidates will work during school holiday periods, in line with their annual leave entitlement.
The Role- Deliver high-quality, individualised tuition to primary-aged pupils.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to each learner's needs and abilities.
- Teach on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
- Deliver tuition in learners' homes, schools, community venues and online where appropriate.
- Assess progress and maintain accurate records.
- Contribute to reviews and work collaboratively with families, schools and other professionals.
- Promote inclusive learning and positive outcomes for every student.
- Holds a recognised teaching qualification, including QTS/PGCE
- Has a minimum of 2 years' teaching experience.
- Has excellent knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
- Has experience supporting children with SEND, medical needs or other barriers to education.
- Can confidently adapt teaching strategies and resources to meet individual learning needs.
- Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Has a strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusive educational practice.
- Is confident using educational technology and digital learning resources.
- Permanent full-time position.
- Salary of £41,133 per annum.
