The Company Our client is a privately owned UK professional services group specialising in pensions, actuarial, investment consulting, trustee and administration services, supporting clients across the UK.

With a number of specialist businesses operating under the wider Group, the organisation is continuing to grow and develop across a number of strategic areas.

As part of this growth, they are now looking to strengthen their Finance function with the appointment of a Financial Planning Analyst.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to develop their career within FP&A and commercial finance, with strong exposure to senior stakeholders and strategic decision-making.

The Rewards As the successful Financial Planning Analyst, you will receive: Salary up to £50,000 Hybrid working, with a minimum of 2 days per week in the Belfast office Opportunity to work within a growing UK-wide professional services group Opportunity to develop your FP&A and commercial finance skillset The Role Reporting directly to the Interim FP&A Lead, the Financial Planning Analyst will be responsible for: Supporting the preparation of annual budgets and longer-term strategic financial plans Assisting with rolling profit and cash flow forecasts across the Group Developing and maintaining financial models to support senior leadership and investors Leading financial investment appraisals for significant strategic investments Supporting variance analysis and routine financial reporting Monitoring financial performance, contract profitability and staff utilisation Analysing financial and operational data to provide meaningful commercial insight The Person The successful Financial Planning Analyst will meet the following criteria: ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified Post-qualified experience within a commercial finance environment Strong Excel and financial modelling skills Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and management reporting Power Query and Power Pivot experience would be highly advantageous Previous FP&A experience is beneficial but not essential.

Candidates with strong accounting fundamentals, advanced Excel/data skills and a genuine interest in developing within commercial finance will be considered.
