- £50,000 BlackFox Solutions are delighted to be working with a well-established and growing organisation, seeking an experienced and hands-on Company Accountant to take ownership of the finance function while supporting wider business operations.
This is a broad, commercially focused role suited to someone who enjoys working across multiple areas of the business and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts across multiple entities, including reconciliations and variance analysis Produce year-end audit files and liaise with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including sales, purchase and nominal ledgers, ensuring accuracy and timely month-end close Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain strong cash flow oversight Manage end-to-end payroll processes (weekly and monthly), including pension compliance and statutory requirements Coordinate payment runs and maintain robust financial controls around supplier payments Ensure timely and accurate submission of VAT and other statutory returns across relevant jurisdictions Manage regulatory and statistical reporting requirements to external bodies Support the preparation of statutory financial statements Oversee credit control processes to optimise cash collection and reduce risk Supervise and support junior finance team members Wider Business Responsibilities: Contribute to operational processes, including oversight of internal systems and data integrity Monitor and report on key business KPIs, supporting strategic planning Maintain reporting requirements for key stakeholders and external partners Support contract management xwzovoh and service agreement tracking Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance and operational processes Provide ad hoc support across the business as required About You: Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) 3+ Years Experience working within a dealership (Preferable) Strong technical accounting knowledge with hands-on experience in a similar role Comfortable working in a broad role that spans finance and operations Strong systems skills and a proactive approach to process improvement Excellent organisational and communication skills Skills: VAT Audit Accounts
