The role offers broad exposure across direct and indirect taxes, regular interaction with senior stakeholders, and the opportunity to contribute to process improvement, automation initiatives and wider tax projects across multiple jurisdictions.Key responsibilities:Working closely with finance teams and external advisers, you will support a wide range of tax matters across the UK and Europe, including:Supporting the preparation of UK and European corporate tax returns.Coordinating VAT and indirect tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.Maintaining transfer pricing documentation and related compliance requirements.Preparing tax disclosures for statutory accounts and group reporting.Managing relationships with external tax advisers and supporting audits.Producing tax forecasts and payment calculations.Enhancing tax processes, controls and risk management frameworks.Identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement.Supporting the implementation of new tax legislation and regulatory developments.Assisting with ad hoc tax projects and business initiatives.About YouWe are keen to speak with qualified tax professionals who have:ACA, CTA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.At least 3 years’ post-qualified experience in tax.Experience working within the Financial Services industry.Strong knowledge of UK corporate tax and indirect taxes.Exposure to international tax matters and multi-jurisdictional environments.Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.What’s on Offer?Broad and varied in-house tax role within a global Financial Services business.Exposure to UK and European tax matters.Opportunity to work within an expanding UK and European operation.Collaborative and high-performing finance team.Strong career development potential and visibility across the organisation.Flexible hybrid working environment – 3 days in office.If you’re looking to step into a commercially focused in-house tax position with significant international exposure and a genuinely broad remit, please apply now or reach out to Morgan Schuler at Brewer Morris Recruitment for a confidential discussion – / Unfortunately, this role will not offer visa sponsorship.Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide.
