About the role
We are currently hiring Press Operatives to join a leading manufacturer.

You will be in a busy workshop environment, operating saws and break out laser cut parts.
It is expected that your knowledge, competency, speed and accuracy will improve over time.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm Friday 7am-1pm Type: Permanent Location: Stourport on Severn, DY13 Key Responsibilities: Delivering high-quality finishes in a workshop environment while maintaining excellent safety and quality standards.
Manufacturing or assembling components in accordance with drawings or customers requirements.
Ensuring that housekeeping of work area is maintained.
Operate saws, b reak out laser cut parts, linishing.
Inspect products, evaluate finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Advise Supervisor of defective tooling, jigs or fixtures or any other types of manufacturing problems that prevent production targets being achieved.
Any other ad hoc duties as required Requirements: Reliability and good communication skills.
Able to use hand tools.
Ability to safely and effectively operate press brake controls, or previous experience in a similar environment.
Ability to read and understand drawings.
Basic computer skills.
Ideally candidates will have their own means of transport to allow for occasional movement between sites, as the business needs. xwzovoh
